Since 20 November 2022, elected members of local authorities are required to make an annual return of the required pecuniary interests (as set out in Subpart 3 (sections 54A to 54I) of Part 4 of the Local Government Act 2002 (the Act)). The local authority appoints a Registrar, who keeps these returns in a register of pecuniary interests.

This report summarises the annual returns for the 12 month period from 29 January 2024 to 28 January 2025 for the elected members of Wellington Regional Council. This summary is made publicly available (as required by section 54A(3) of the Act) on Greater Wellington’s website.
