basis for understanding, prioritising and focusing Greater
Wellington Regional Council's actions It assists in the
understanding and management of the ecological processes
and of protecting the values for special areas in the Wellington
region, and summarises 60+ eco-domains (areas that have
unity within themselves but are distinctive from each other). It
